Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal Review Pace Of Work on Corridor-3

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has directed concern officers to accelerate pace of work on all ongoing development projects so that they could be opened for public as soon as possible. Reviewing ongoing development projects including signal free corridor-III during a meeting on Monday he said that all development projects will be completed on time and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. Earlier Nazim Karachi was was informed that nearly 45 percent of work on two of the important projects of Corridor-III including Preedy Street and Jail Chowrangi Flyover has already been completed while work on overhead U turns at University Road, Abul Hasan Ispahani Road and Gulistan-e-Jauhar is also 35 percent complete. After completion of all piling work lying of girders at Jail Chowrangi Flyover will start in few weeks while work on Preedy Street also going on speedily and both of these projects will complete before scheduled time.He was further briefed that the work of traffic redesigning at and around Empress Market has also been done which will be soon publicized through newspapers.
Nazim Karachi on this occasion instructed to complete all these work after conducting thorough survey and study of the traffic engineering in Saddar so that the citizens would not have any difficulty after the completion of the project.

He also directed that with the construction of parking plaza all no parking zone in Saddar should also be identified.

The Executive Director Parks was also directed to begin the beautification work on corridor-III.

Nazim Karachi also directed to start the work of construction of side wall and storm water drain along Preedy Street simultaneously.

He said that this corridor will also be opened for traffic before the scheduled time.
